2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No. 211 of 2023 for the offence registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 27.06.2023 by the informant, Santu Manjhi.
3. As per the prosecution story, due to previous enmity, the accused persons assembled and assaulted the informant. Specific allegation is against Sonu Kumar (the petitioner herein) is of assaulting on the head. The other accused persons have also assaulted the informant's side. Accordingly, the F.I.R.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that a
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20262 of 2024(2) dt.02-04-2024 2/2 perusal of learned Sessions Judge order would show that regarding injury, opinion has been reserved. He further submits that the other accused persons have been granted bail
5. Learned APP for the State, on the other hand, points out that the injury has been found to be on the temporal region (1 1⁄2" X 1⁄2") as also injury above the right eye. He further points out that the other accused persons have granted bail not anticipatory bail.
6. The kind of allegation that has come against the petitioner giving injury on the head as also above the right eye, it would be appropriate that he seeks bail.
