JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 05-02-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 196 of 2019 (G.R. No. 2021 of 2019) for offences under Section 147, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

There is specific allegation against the petitioner and others that they assaulted younger brother of the informant by means of lathi and danda as a result of which he sustained injuries on his left eyebrow and nose.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
