JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 08-10-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 85 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 354-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8, 12, 18 of POCSO Act.

Taking note of the allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to him and, accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, this order shall not cause any prejudice to the concerned court at the time of consideration of regular bail application of the petitioner.
