The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jadopur P.S.Case No.62 of 2016 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 326, 307, 379, 498A and 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a lady aged about 60 years. She is mother-inlaw of the deceased. She is in custody since 04.12.2019. On consideration of the materials available on the record, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected.

However, considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady, Court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17504 of 2020(3) dt.23-06-2020 2/2 the same within a period of five months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period and there is no laches on the part of the petitioner in conclusion of the trial, the petitioner may renew her payer for bail. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) spandey/- U T
