The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 421 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 311.4 litres of illicit liquor from a Bolero vehicle and the petitioner was apprehended from nearby while looking after the vehicle. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the said vehicle and he has got nothing to do with the alleged incident.
