In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No.165 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a), 36 and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that the police has recovered huge quantity of liquor from a Sumo Victa Vehicle and the said vehicle alongwith one Apache Motorcycle has been seized. The seized motorcycle belongs to the petitioner. Looking to the quantity of the liquor recovered, this

However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
