2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khagaria Complaint Case No. 537c of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. The complainant made allegation on her husband and in-laws that they tortured her for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The petitioner is brother-in-law of the complainant, having no
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18476 of 2025(6) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple. Moreover, the husband of the complainant namely Ajit Sah has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 07.08.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 33620 of 2025.
5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria Complaint Case No. 537c of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
