The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Janki Nagar P.S. Case No.245 of 2022 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged seized vehicles or liquor. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17483 of 2023(3) dt.19-05-2023 2/2 event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Special Judge I, Excise Act, Purnea in connection with Janki Nagar P.S. Case No.245 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
