2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The petitioner in association of other co-accused is said to have brutally assaulted the informant and his son
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. He is quite innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case due to political rivalry. It is further submitted that there existed a political rivalry between the parties as petitioner was a polling agent in the Zila Parishad election in which the informant's wife contested and lost and for taking revenge this false and fabricated case has been lodged against the petitioner and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17703 of 2025(2) dt.19-03-2025 2/2 others. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent and has been languishing in custody since 13.12.2024.
5. Learned APP for the State opposed the bail petition.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Khodawandpur (Chhorahi O.P.) P.S. Case No.196 of 2023.
