JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-05-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the petitioner and his wife Reena Devi got the land of the informant's share transferred in their favour through his mother-in-law Ramuna Devi who happens to be mother of informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the son-in-law of Ramuna Devi whereas the informant is the daughter of Ramuna Devi. Ramuna Devi being a widow has only two daughters and the petitioner is the husband of one of the daughters hence she transferred her share of property and she also filed a petition to that effect before S.P., Nawada, the same has been brought on record as Annexure-2.
