JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 11-10-2017 The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 246 of 2017, registered for offences punishable under Sections 8/20(b)II of NDPS Act. Allegation against the petitioners is of recovery of 13.5 kg and 7.5 kg of ganja respectively.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have falsely been implicated in this case and they have no criminal antecedent. Moreover, they have sufficiently been punished as they have been in judicial custody for last six months. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides, considering the fact and circumstances of the case and quantity of recovery, I am not

However, learned Special Judge is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it as soon as possible preferably, within a period of seven months.
