2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 1605 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-341, 323, 354(B), 379, 504, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-8 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other accused persons used to threaten the victim of dire consequence for talking with him and in consequence thereof, the petitioner along with other accused persons forcibly made the victim forcibly seated in a vehicle, abused her mother and father. The petitioner took the photograph of the victim on the point of pistol. The victim's father and uncle were assaulted.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. It has further been submitted that both the parties are known to each other. The petitioner is in custody since 27-12-2023.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. In paragraph-9 of the case diary, the witness Barun Kumar who is a tutor and used to visit the victim's house to teach the victim's brother has fully supported the occurrence.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, the same is rejected.
