Learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted to remove defect (s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Raniganj P.S. Case No. 296 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is accused in a case of Dacoity. He has criminal antecedent also. His complicity has been found in the case and the co-accused persons, from whom the amount has been recovered, have taken the name of this petitioner in their selfinculpatory statements. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.

This is a case of 2018 and it is surprising that the local

The Superintendent of Police, Araria, is directed to take all steps for arresting the petitioner and send a status report to this Court on or before 19.05.2022.

The Superintendent of Police, Araria, will also explain as to why this petitioner has not been arrested for the last four years. Office is directed to send a copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police, Araria, through FAX or e-mail forthwith for its compliance.

Sri Jharkhandi Upadhyay, learned APP shall also communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police, Araria through WhatsApp or Phone immediately.
