This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Sakri P.S. Case No. 197/2020 registered under section 30(a), 38(i) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 1152 litre of liquor kept in two plastic bad and also the petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2022. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18717 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 antecedent this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Session Judge- III, cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Sakri P.S. Case No. 197/2020. The petitioner will visit Sakri police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
