2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 840 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 423, 467, 468, 471, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Prosecution case, in short, is that the accused persons including the petitioner fraudulently sold the informant's land by forging signatures and executing unauthorized sale agreements. It is further alleged that the accused persons also manipulated property records and transactions to wrongfully claim the ownership on the land of

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that general and omnibus allegation has been made against the petitioner. No specific overt act is alleged against the petitioner. Learned counsel further submitted that the specific allegation is attributed to co-accused Shambhu Prasad @ Lala Jee who has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 18.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 74908 of 2023. Learned counsel further submitted that petitioner is only the son of coaccused Shambhu Prasad. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2025 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, claim based on parity as also the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing
