Petitioner seeks bail in Naubatpur P.S. Case No.27 of 2020 registered under Sections 30(a) and 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

50 litres of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner. Alcoholic smell was also coming from the mouth of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not the owner of the house. The petitioner is in jail since 13.01.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about five months for recovery of 50 litres of country made liquor.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19235 of 2020(2) dt.08-06-2020 2/2 named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case No.27 of 2020 (Special Case No.475 of 2020).
