The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 296 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant Surendra Chauhan in his written complaint before the Officer-in-charge, Forbeshganj police station has alleged that on 25.04.2017 at about 7:00 PM he had gone outside in search of labourer and when he went to residence of his widow sister he found that petitioner Ramanand Mandal was in compromising position and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46846 of 2018(2) dt.08-08-2018 2/2 thereafter abused him, upon which petitioner attacked informant by sharp cutting weapon on different parts of bodies, causing injury to him.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and the injury caused, as per injury report all are simple injuries and he is in custody since 17.04.2018.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 296 of 2017.
