The grievance of the petitioner is that though an application for grant of Arms Licence has been filed before the Licensing Authority i.e. District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, under the Arms Act, 1959, with a reminder thereafter, it has not been disposed of.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and taking note of the grievance of the petitioner, this application is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra to consider the grievance of the petitioner regarding

Patna High Court CWJC No.392 of 2014 (2) dt.17-03-2015 2/2 grant of Arms Licence and dispose of the same, in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
