JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 20-05-2019 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mejorganj P.S. Case No. 385 of 2018, registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of stabbing the husband of the informant causing grievous injury to him. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been made accused in this case and there is admitted enmity between the parties and further he has no criminal antecedent and has been in judicial custody since 27.11.2018 Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for the informant. They have opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that the injury sustained by the husband of the informant was found to be grievous in nature.

No.17605 of 2019(4) dt.20-05-2019 2/2 Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, however, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months and if the trial is not concluded within the said period, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself. With the above observation, this application is dismissed.
