JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "I. For issuance of writ of mandamus commanding the respondents authorities to consider the claim of the petitioner for selection on the post of police Constable similar to others in the light of order dated 28.6.2011 passed in L.P.A.No.831 of 2009 and its analogous cases regarding advertisement of the year 2004.
II. For issuance of writ of mandamus commanding the respondent authority to issue joining letter to the petitioners because they have qualified the selection

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances.
