Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 247C of 2014, registered under Sections323, 504, 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner and his family members are ready to live with the complainant but it is she who is not ready. Complainant is a mentally ill lady. Mother of this petitioner also lodged a case since the complainant was traceless. Petitioner has clean antecedent.
Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11990 of 2016 (10) dt.20-06-2017 2/2 the prayer for bail and submits that there is specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture against this petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
