The petitioner apprehends his arrest in S.C./S.T. P.S. Case No. 31/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3(1)(X) S.C./S.T. Act and Section 27 of Arms Act.
The informant alleged that the petitioner had covered his face and intercepted him and snatched money from his possession. It is submitted that after two days of occurrence the present case was filed. Earlier also the informant filed Katra P.S. Case No. 82/13 under Section 384 of I.P.C. against the petitioner in which the petitioner has already been granted bail. It is submitted that the petitioner is an activist of R.T.I. The wife of the informant is working as Vikas Mitra in Barri
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35878 of 2015 (3) dt.03-11-2015 2/2 Panchayat and she along with the Panchayat Sachiv committed many irregularities in allotting Indira Awas. It appears that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in as many as seven cases.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
