Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 341, 323, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act. The FIR as well as statement of the victim under Section 161 Cr.P.C. reveals that the petitioner was in physical relation with her on the pretext of marriage. Subsequently, the petitioner refused to marry and the victim was pregnant from this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2017.
