The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
There is recovery of 144 litres of illicit liquor from Tata Sumo and 126 litres from Bolero vehicle. The drivers of the vehicles escaped from the place of seizure. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the seized illicit liquor. The petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18436 of 2025(2) dt.18-04-2025 2/2 has handed over his vehicle to co-villager who has misused his vehicle by illegally carrying illicit liquor on his vehicle. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Court No. 1, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Yadunathpur P.S. Case No. 04 of 2024.
