The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

45.6 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from a pick-up van and this petitioner was made accused on the confession of co-accused Subhash Kumar, who was apprehended on spot.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the said vehicle and he is in custody since 14.01.2022.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

P.S. Case No. 387 of 2021.
