2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 20.08.2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 16853 of 2015, wherein, this Court had passed the following order:

"Having considered the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off in the following terms:

(i) The Accountant General, Bihar (respondent no.4) is directed to ensure that actual payment with regard to arrears on account of fixation of revised pay scale with effect from 01.01.2006 as well as payment to the promotional post is made to the

Patna High Court MJC No.952 of 2019(5) dt.16-05-2025 2/3 petitioner within four weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.

(ii) Similarly, the revised pension amount would also be paid to him after issuance of revised P.P.O. by the respondent no. 4 within the same period.

(iii) The newly added respondent no. 5 shall ensure that upon necessary order issued by the respondent no. 4, the actual payment is also credited to the account of the petitioner within three weeks thereafter. A copy of the order be also served on respondent no. 5 within one week by the petitioner."

3. Opposite party No. 6 has filed a show cause, wherein, in paragraph Nos. 5 & 6, it has been stated as under:

"5. That it is humbly stated that immediately after communication of order dated 20.08.2016 passed by the Hon'ble Court, the then Superintendent of Police, Supaul had ordered the Sargent Major, Supaul and other concerned to ensure its compliance within four days. The Account in the office of this opposite party has reported that the petitioner has long before been paid the difference amount of gratuity and E.L.

through Bill Nos. 20/16-17 and 21/1617 respectively and as of now there are

Patna High Court MJC No.952 of 2019(5) dt.16-05-2025 3/3 no dues of the petitioner to be paid from the level of office of answering opposite party.

6. That it is humbly stated that in the meantime, office of the learned A.G., Bihar has revised his P.P.O. and has sent a copy of the same which has duly been communicated to the petitioner A.D.O. has also been issued and payment has been made in his A/C No. 2407000300189880 on 08.07.2019."

4. On perusal of paragraph Nos. 5 & 6 of the counter affidavit filed by the O.P. No. 6, I find that the order 20.08.2016 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 16853 of 2015 has been complied with.

5. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed and disposed off.
