The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Sonepur P.S. Case No.1020 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. There is a case and counter case between the parties. The wife of the petitioner also sustained injury.
Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail by contending that the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Abhay Kumar Singh with
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16410 of 2020(5) dt.10-01-2022 2/2 knife, who got five injuries on his person out of which Injury no.1 is reported to be grievous in nature. The informant Binay Kumar Rai was also assaulted by the petitioner due to which the informant got two injuries on his person. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. Harish/- (Arvind Srivastava, J) U T
