The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Karahgar P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Section 394 of the I.P.C.

The allegation against the accused persons including the petitioner herein is snatching a sum of Rs. 18,000/- and one Samsung mobile phone from the driver of a truck. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case on account of his past criminal history. It is further submitted that as far as the petitioner is concerned, he is a non-FIR named accused person and his name has transpired in the present case on account of confessional statement made by co-accused

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32263 of 2018 (3) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 person who has already been granted bail. The petitioner is said to be languishing in custody since 11.12.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Karahgar P.S. Case No. 21 of 2017.
