2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 64(1), 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 351(3) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner, posing himself an advocate, called the informant at his flat to provide her legal remedy regarding payment of dues of salary, and committed rape on her.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is a practicing advocate of the Civil court, Patna. Informant is a lady of dubious character and about 35 criminal cases have been lodged by the informant or lodged upon her. Most of these cases were lodged by the informant in different places of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that petitioner is named in the FIR with specific allegation that on the pretext of providing her legal remedy, he called the informant on his flat and finding her alone

6. Considering the nature of accusation, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
