The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 220 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the I.P.C.
The allegation is regarding the petitioner having killed his wife on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent, has been falsely implicated in the present case, is ill and languishing in custody since 19.12.2017. Per contra, the learned A.P.P. for the State submits that the complicity of the petitioner is writ large, hence the petitioner does not deserve privilege of bail.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32679 of 2018 (3) dt.23-07-2018 2/2 case, I do not find any merit in the present petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
