The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 439 of 2015 registered for the offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is a doctor and he has alleged that petitioner had demanded ransom on his mobile phone which was received by his compounder. However repeated phone calls on said phone numbers were received and thereafter he disclosed his name as Vikash Singh and threatened that if ransom is not paid he will be killed. It has been further submitted that petitioner is in custody

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58280 of 2017 (3) dt.12-01-2018 2/2 since 30.07.2015.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M., IV, Motihari, District- East Champaran, in connection with Motihari Town P.S.
