Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This application has been filed for modification of the order, dated 10.07.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42310 of 2019, whereby the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and was directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from the date of the order. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, while praying for extension of time to surrender, submits that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the stipulated time granted by this Court as he works as mason in Jammu and Kashmir for his livelihood and the said order could not be communicated to him in time.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17867 of 2020(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/2 Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below for furnishing bail bond by order dated 10.07.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 42310 of 2019, is hereby extended by six weeks from today.

This application is allowed with the modification as above.
