The petitioner is accused in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 206 of 2018 registered under sections 386, 387 and 506 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of A.C.J.M.-VI, Patna City, Patna.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2018. He is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Further submission is that no incriminating articles have been recovered from the possession of this petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16751 of 2019(4) dt.22-07-2019 2/2 that petitioner has criminal antecedent. He is accused in several cases. In course of investigation, the witnesses have also supported the version of the prosecution.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
