Petitioner had misappropriated 293.18 Quintals of Rice which he was expected to supply to the Bihar State Food Corporation Limited during financial year 2016-2017 appertaining to Rs. 6,96,595.68/-.

Considering the nature of the allegation, petitioner, Lallan Prasad Yadav is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Saran at Chapra in Taraiya PS Case No. 220/2017 in terms of condition having been imposed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in connection with SLP (Crl) No. 1779/2016 (State of Bihar v. Divesh Kumar chaudhary & Ors).
