Standing Counsel (04) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-03-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- (i) Issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the respondent authority/authorities to make payment of petitioner's salary, who is working as Night-Guard in Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya, Srinagar, Thakraha since

Patna High Court CWJC No.5034 of 2025(2) dt.27-03-2025 2/3 21.10.2020 till now, but he has not been paid his due salary, which comes to the tune of Rs.2,60,000/- till the month of February, 2025 and also to make payment of reasonable interest over the same dues amount.

(ii) For any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner may be found to be entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he was engaged as Night Guard in Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya, Srinagar, Thakraha on 21.10.2020 by the School Education Committee, since then he has been performing his duty but he has not been paid his due salary till date.

4. In view of the relief(s) as prayed for, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to file a detail representation before the District Magistrate, Bettiah (West Champaran) for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions and the information contained in the writ petition that the petitioner was engaged on 21.10.2020 as the Night Guard, since then he has been performing his duty till date but he has not been paid his due salary, the District Magistrate, Bettiah (West Champaran) is directed to call for the service particulars relating to the petitioner from the office of the Principal of the School and see that the entire payment of due salary is paid to the petitioner

4. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
