The learned counsel for the University, at the outset, submits that the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, as the order passed by the learned Writ Court stands complied. The learned counsel for the petitioners rebuts the submission of the learned counsel for the University and submits that no doubt the payments have been made but then the payments have not been made in its entirety and petitioner no. 8 has not received any amount, on which the learned counsel for the University submits that on account of certain confusion with respect to bank account number of petitioner no. 8, the said mistake occurred, but then it is submitted that he has instructions to make submission that cheque will be handed over

Patna High Court MJC No.1018 of 2021(10) dt.12-05-2023 3/3 to petitioner no. 8 by tomorrow.

The learned counsel for the petitioners, at this stage, submits that in the event if the contempt application is disposed of then the petitioners will not get the remaining amount, on which the learned counsel for the University submits that the entire payments have been made and in the event if any legitimate dues of the petitioners still remains to be paid then the same shall also be paid provided the dues are legitimate. Be that as it may, the Court in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the University, is not inclined to proceed with the contempt application.

Accordingly, the present contempt application is disposed of.

However, the petitioners would be at liberty to file a second contempt application in the event, if any legitimate dues are not paid to them.
