The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
It is contended that, as per allegation, 120 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the four bags kept on the bicycle of the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 14.09.2017. Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53581 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Excise Case No. 250 of 2017 with a condition if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
