The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 299 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather the alleged recovery of liquor has been made from the side of Tube Well which has no concern with the petitioner which is evident from the seizure list itself. The petitioner may be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Case No. 299 of 2019 subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
