The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Laxmipur (Gighaur) P.S. Case No. 182/17 dated 02.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 323, 364, 366(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation in the First Information Report is that the son of the informant was kidnapped for the purposes of marriage and an effort was made to force the entry of the bride along with the groom in the house of the

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he is not related either to the boy side or to the girl side but has been made accused in this case because of his being a co-villager. Under similar circumstances, one of the co-accused of this case has been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his being a person of clean antecedent and a complete outsider to the family of either the informant or the other accused persons, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate -IV, Jamui, in connection with Laxmipur (Gighaur) P.S. Case
