The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017 dated 28.06.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

186 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from a tempo which was being occupied by five persons. Out of the aforesaid five persons, two ran away and three persons were apprehended. The petitioner is one of them.

The petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56999 of 2017 (2) dt.06-12-2017 bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise -X, Patna in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 143 of 2017.
