The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 131 of 2016 dated 03.08.2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 47(a)(e), 53(a)(b)(c) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Twenty two litres of illicit liquor is said to have been recovered from the hut of the petitioner. Co-accused Baldeo Dhanger, from whose possession also, illicit liquor was recovered has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 16.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 53554 of 2017.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2017. The petitioner above named is directed to be released

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54465 of 2017 (3) dt.27-11-2017 on bail on furnishing his bail bond of a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Kotwa P.S.
