This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Beur PS Case No. 279 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the instant case was registered against unknown and the name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused Dilip Kumar Rai and Ranjan Kumar. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner is in custody since 27.11.2018 in a case registered against unknown and the petitioner has not been put under T I Parade, the Court is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16987 of 2019(2) dt.25-03-2019 2/2 inclined to release the petitioner on bail. This application is allowed.

Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Ajit Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VIII, Patna in connection with Beur PS Case No. 279 of 2018.
