2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Mehus P. S. Case No. 47 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Section 80, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. It is alleged that this petitioner along with other F.I.R. named accused persons committed murder of the daughter of informant by pressing her neck, for dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner never demanded any dowry from the daughter of informant. As a matter of fact, the deceased herself committed suicide as she

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that there is direct and specific accusation that this petitioner along with others killed the daughter of informant by strangulating her. During investigation, four-year old daughter of the petitioner, who is also an eye witness of the occurrence, fully supported the prosecution case and stated that this petitioner assaulted the deceased and strangulated her with Dupatta and then hung her from the ceiling fan.
6. Considering the nature and seriousness of accusation and materials available on record, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
