Patna High Court CWJC No.17159 of 2016 dt.20-07-2017 2/3 submits that though, the writ application was filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to make payment of retiral benefits and other consequential benefits, including Gratuity, Earned Leave, 50% D.A. merger in basic pension and Group Insurance with 12 % compound interest, but, at present, he confines his prayer only for disposal of the writ application with a direction to Jai Prakash University, Chapra, to the effect that on filing of a representation for payment of Gratuity, Group Insurance and Earned Leave amount within a period of four weeks from today, the authority concerned will dispose of the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. Mr. Nagendra Kumar Singh, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent Nos.

2 to 4, submits, that, the claim of the petitioner will be considered within a period of four weeks of filing of the representation by the petitioner, but, the payment will depend upon the fund being released by the State Government. However, the requisition for grant of fund has already been made hence entire admitted dues of the petitioner will be paid, preferably, within a period of three months.

Mr. Vinay Kumar Singh, learned AC to AAG-15 appearing on behalf of respondent-State submits that the Stage Government will try to provide the required fund very shortly. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with a
