The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the impugned order under office order no. 3647 dated 20.09.2012 through which the undernoted major punishment has been awarded :- (a) Withholding two increments with cumulative effect.
(b) Censor"

The learned counsel for the respondent- State has submitted that the husband of the petitioner had filed an appeal
Patna High Court CWJC No.15489 of 2014 dt.13-07-2023 2/2 dated 15.10.2012 against the aforesaid punishment order dated 20.09.2012, whereafter the date of hearing was fixed on 02.12.2013 and then on 20.12.2013, however, the husband of the petitioner died on 08.12.2013, hence, the appeal could not be disposed off.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the appellate authority to consider the appeal of the petitioner, in accordance with law and dispose off the same, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of four weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order, in case, the same is still pending.
