The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hathuwa P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty, a tractor attached with trailer was seen by the informant and other Police personnel. On seeing the Police personnel, the driver of the vehicle tried to flee away, but, on chase, he was apprehended, who disclosed his name Hridyanand Ram (petitioner). On search, 1329 bottles, each containing 180 ML Indian made foreign liquor recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Gopalganj in connection with Hathuwa P.S. Case No. 11 of 2020.
