The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Basantpur (Lakri Nawiganj OP) P.S. Case No. 28 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 328, 308, 304, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 37(b), 33, 34 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2023 and there is a recovery of 155 litres of illicit liquor and 800 pieces of 8PM Radico. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.
