Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Jokihat P.S.Case No. 342 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the accused persons, including the petitioner is that they have assaulted the informant and caused injuries to him.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is case and counter case between the parties with respect to land dispute and for that a title suit is going on and moreover no specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioner and he is in custody since 21.5.2018.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Jokihat P.S.Case No. 342 of 2016, subject to the that one of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned.
