The petitioner has filed the present application under Sections 439 and 440 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail in connection with Dumraon (Naya Bhojpur O.P.) P.S. Case No.70 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner absconded from the place from where 20 liters of illicit liquor, one cylinder and some other articles were recovered and the petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2020, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
