JUSTICE RAJENDRA KUMAR MISHRA ORAL ORDER 07-07-2020 Heard the parties through video conferencing. This application has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for modification of the order, dated 04.11.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65871 of 2019 by this Court with regard to extension of period of surrender of the petitioner in connection with Sadar Hajipur P.S. Case No. 528 of 2018, pending in the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge II-cumSpecial Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur. It appears that vide order, dated 04.11.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65871 of 2019 the petitioner in the event of his surrender within four weeks from the date of the aforesaid order, was granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail by this Court in connection with Sadar Hajipur P.S. Case No. 528 of 2018,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17757 of 2020(2) dt.07-07-2020 2/2 pending in the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge II-cumSpecial Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur, but, for the reasons, mentioned in this application, the petitioner could not surrender before the Court, concerned, within the stipulated period, as granted by this Court.

In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for modification of the order, dated 04.11.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65871 of 2019 by this Court in this regard.

Let the period of surrender of the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case before the Court, concerned, be extended for a further period of six weeks from today. The order, dated 04.11.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65871 of 2019 by this Court is modified to aforesaid extent only.
